Neurodiversity Supplement
Neurodiversity Supplement
Introduction
This is material intended primarily for neurodivergent people. If you don’t know what that is, you can read a short description about it in the Level 2: Psychology I (Bare Essentials) lesson, or in more detail in the Level 2: Psychology IIb (Intermediate-B) lesson. It is additional material designed to be read in addition to the base material to show the differences that may be experienced by some ND people.
For example, if you are neurodivergent and want to read about Anger, then start with Emotion Management IIb (Intermediate-B), and then read the Emotion Management IIb-ND lesson.
The ND Supplement may also be of use to other people as well, such as:
- People who are not sure whether they are neurodivergent or not
- People who know one or more neurodivergent people (you likely do) and want to understand them better, and how to better support and relate to them
- People who find the material in the main lesson doesn’t entirely work for them
As with the rest of the program, we welcome your feedback and contributions. If you find something doesn’t work for you, or even if it does work for you, let us know. If you can think of ways that the material can be better presented or made more accessible, let us know. If you know about more material that could be added, let us know. Just check the Contributions page for details.
